I would give up the streak this year to the Mets...just because I know our young kids are gonna be studs!

Stone75Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11175154.post-1144960948105618472006-04-13T15:42:00.000-05:002006-04-13T15:42:00.000-05:00Man, SOMEONE obviously grew up with the Time-Life ...Man, SOMEONE obviously grew up with the Time-Life World War Two series on their uncle's bookshelf.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11175154.post-1144875109565593722006-04-12T15:51:00.000-05:002006-04-12T15:51:00.000-05:00Question: What are the price/size of the beers thi...Question: What are the price/size of the beers this year at the Ted?

Two years ago (24oz/$8) I could justify it to myself saying that I could buy a regular beer at a bar for $3 and tip the bartender a buck, itm comes out the same price.

Last year it moved to $6.75 for a 16oz brew in those awful plastic bottles. It got a little bit harder to justify paying that in my mind other than saying to myself "you're at a Braves game, you're gonna spend money you cheap bastard."

I'm guessing this year there are no excuses. I fully expect to be served a dixie cup of Icehouse for $5 whenever I go to a game this yearAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11175154.post-1144791988134240612006-04-11T16:46:00.000-05:002006-04-11T16:46:00.000-05:00It was great to finally see a game this year where...It was great to finally see a game this year where our starting pitching looked like our starting pitching. I'm worried about Hudson, for crying out loud was he on steroids in Oakland or something?? I'm not worried about Francouer yet, if only for the fact that he participated in the WBC and rarely saw any playing time. He's just finding his stroke, although taking the first pitch might help his case.
Love the constant WW2 references...keep up the good work.

Stone75Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
