It seems pretty bad, but I still think Petrino is going to have success if given the opportunity to stick around (assuming he doesn't bolt)

T Moore's article this morning made me pull my hair out.KennyBanyahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01935449516982758472noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11175154.post-50075599826005247982007-10-09T09:22:00.000-05:002007-10-09T09:22:00.000-05:00I'm going to take a wild guess that you do think t...I'm going to take a wild guess that you do think that Ohio State's record against Michigan under Jim Tressel does have something to do with the 2007 season.Michaelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08365733949431139562noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11175154.post-45573929175397369192007-10-09T08:35:00.000-05:002007-10-09T08:35:00.000-05:00what does ohio states past bowl record against the...what does ohio states past bowl record against the SEC have to do with the 2007 college football season? It kinda takes the luster off of the "greatest upset ever," if one mentions the fact that this game represented not the first, not the second, but the SEVENTH time in the last calendar year (plus one week) that USC played a game to the wire against a team it was supposed to trounce. Oh, and its record in those games is a sterling 4-3.

Not that anyone cares, but I would argue that this is not even the greatest upset Stanford has pulled in the last twenty years. Put in its proper context (i.e. beyond a gambling line), what happened in South Bend in 1990 was more of a shocker.Edhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02525308050499798151noreply@blogger.com
