That must just be a recruting rankings perception. In the Tuberville era they are 4-3 vs. LSU, 5-2 vs. UGA, and 5-2 vs. Alabama (3 main rivals). They have won 16 of 17 conference games and are 5-1 against Top 10 teams. Unless they are just extremely lucky I think those stats prove they have been as deep as any team in the league the last few years, especially on the Lines.

The one place they are lacking is preperation for the 1st game of the year. It's been a thorn in Tuberville's side every year.

If they can beat Wash St then I would expect a 10-2 year. There are too many tough games and the killer is that they have no bye week.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11175154.post-1155925896073463792006-08-18T13:31:00.000-05:002006-08-18T13:31:00.000-05:00Thanks for sharing your fantasies, MichaeLLLL- pRo...Thanks for sharing your fantasies, MichaeLLLL

- pRohphet8Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11175154.post-1155923866567747142006-08-18T12:57:00.000-05:002006-08-18T12:57:00.000-05:00Be honest......If WV played VT this year, who woul...Be honest......

If WV played VT this year, who would be favored. Keep in mind that WV has Slaton and White (who did not play most of the game against VT last year), and Vick (who killed WV last year with 3rd down and long conversions) is gone.

Also, the only thing that's probably more true than the Big East being weak is that VT folds every year in November...

I know many VT fans, and deep down they are wondering if they screwed up by going to the ACC. If they had stayed in the Big East, they'd be right there with WV and Louisville in the top 10.

Also, VPI played WV for many. many years and turned there back on WV when they got the chance to bolt and become Duke and NC wannabes.

Blacksburg is located in Appalachia, not tobacco road.

WV's recent success is justice.

Rather than whine about the WV schedule, encourage your administration to rekindle the home and home series again with WV and Pitt.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
